Great post! It's very hard to find such clear numbers about robot business. Despite the mantra narrative is that several types of robots are coming, I have serious doubts also about their economic viability. I'm much more familiarized with drones and packets deliveries, and I think that some companies have made the bet to develop this technological milestone, but they know that they're not economically good. Investors and media may feed some utopic dreams, but then, reality comes to place.
In my region, many companies admitted that they tried robots, but they removed them after some time. Robots may be only feasible for companies with big production series. That makes me think about another consequence, consisting on that robots incorporation to market may make some small low tier companies that have to continously adapt their production, may disappear.
